OVERVIEW

This 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 19-inch wheels with Goodyear tires, a dual exhaust system, and Recaro bucket seats. Finished in Race Red with white accent striping over a Charcoal Black cloth interior, this fifth-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with an owner’s manual, a tire inflator, a CARFAX report, and a clear title.

Instrumentation consists of a 180-mph speedometer, a 9K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level. The selling dealer reports the digital odometer reads about 50,695 miles. The CARFAX report shows 50,737 miles as of November 2022.  

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The naturally aspirated Coyote-based RoadRunner 5.0-liter V8 was equipped with CNC-ported cylinder heads and revised camshafts at the factory and was rated at 444 horsepower when new. It reportedly received an oil change this year; the CARFAX report shows that the vehicle was also serviced at a Ford dealership last November. Power is directed to the back wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from anti-lock disc brakes. Steering is handled by electric power steering. Suspension hardware includes adjustable dampers and a Boss 302-specific rear sway bar.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report shows an accident in 2018 that caused damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. A $199 dealer fee will be added to the purchase price. The sale includes an owner’s manual and a tire inflator.
