OVERVIEW
This 1966 Mercury M-100 pickup sends power from a 352ci big-block V8 through a four-speed manual transmission to the rear 15-inch wheels. Features include a Sony stereo with Pioneer speakers, an Edelbrock aluminum intake with a rebuilt four-barrel carburetor, new General tires, a Hurst shifter, and new chrome trim. Finished in two-tone turquoise and white over a new black and white vinyl interior, this Mercury truck is available now from the selling dealer with service records and a clear California title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior has been repainted in a combination of turquoise and white. According to the selling dealer, the chrome is new. Features include dual side mirrors, a cab-mounted fuel cap, and a turquoise bed interior.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
This M-100 sits on a set of 15-inch five-slot wheels wrapped in new 30" x 9.5" General Grabber tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The selling dealer states the interior is new. It comes furnished with a black and white vinyl bench seat with lap belts, a Hurst manual shifter, a Sony AM/FM/cassette radio with Pioneer speakers, vent windows, and manual window cranks.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Behind the aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel is a 100-mph horizontal speedometer. Other gauges display the truck’s oil pressure, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 92,657 miles, but the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
A four-speed manual transmission delivers the 352ci big-block V8's output to the road. Engine bay features include an Edelbrock air filter, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and aftermarket valve covers. A new battery, air filter, and fuel filter have been installed. According to the selling dealer, recent maintenance includes a rebuild of the four-barrel carburetor, a fuel system service, a radiator flush, and a fuel tank flush.
UNDERCARRIAGE
In September 2022, the manual drum brakes were serviced and repairs to the drive shaft, including the installation of a new front yoke and a new center U-joint, were made before the driveshaft was balanced.
