OVERVIEW
This 1988 Ford Bronco XLT is powered by a 5.8-liter V8 engine backed by a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include part-time four-wheel drive, a four-inch lift, a new Rough Country suspension, new BFGoodrich tires, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. Recently refinished in white and tan over a newer tan vinyl and cloth interior, this Bronco is available now from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear California title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was recently refinished in white and tan. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, dual side mirrors, a removable tan half-roof, a power tailgate window, and tailgate trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of newer silver steel wheels with trim rings and chrome center caps is wrapped in new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The newer front bucket seats and the bench rear seat are upholstered in tan vinyl with tan cloth seating surfaces. Power features include the steering, brakes, windows, and locks. Additional features include a newer front center console with cup holders, a tilt steering column with an automatic transmission shifter, air conditioning, a Sony AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth stereo, and a floor-mounted dual-range transfer case.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 61,825 miles, which the selling dealer reports as accurate. A May 2022 entry on the CARFAX report shows a Mileage Inconsistency at 17,241 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is supplied by a fuel-injected 5.8-liter V8 and backed by a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The selling dealer states that an MSD ignition has been installed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Bronco was factory-equipped with solid front and rear axles and part-time four-wheel drive. A new four-inch lift and a new Rough Country suspension have been installed. In addition, the exhaust system has been replaced. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
