OVERVIEW
This restored 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a new 350ci V8 crate engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include an AM/FM stereo, a wood-rim steering wheel, bolt-on turbine-style wheels with new BFGoodrich tires, and side pipes. Finished in red and equipped with a white folding convertible top over a black vinyl interior, this C2 Corvette is available now and comes from the selling dealer with repair receipts and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Corvette was originally finished in Sunfire Yellow (code 984), but was repainted with red lacquer under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, hide-away headlights, a driver-side mirror, and a rear antenna. The selling dealer states that the paint shows signs of checking.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of bolt-on turbine-style wheels with knock-off-style center caps is wrapped in new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual steering and brakes, a new floor-mounted manual shifter, an AM/FM stereo, a three-spoke sport steering wheel with a wood rim, and manual windows.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
This Corvette has a 160-mph speedometer and supplemental gauges for other vehicle systems. The odometer reads 51,238 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a new 350ci V8 crate engine and backed by a four-speed manual transmission with a new clutch. Engine bay features include finned cast aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an aluminum radiator, PerTronix ignition, a chrome air cleaner, and a chrome distributor cover.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by new manual four-wheel discs. The exhaust flows from cast iron exhaust manifolds through side pipes with heat shields.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The selling dealer will charge a $150 documentation fee in addition to the price of the vehicle. Repair receipts come with the purchase of the car.
