This restored 1949 Chevrolet 3100 is powered by a 216ci straight-six backed by the reportedly original rebuilt three-speed manual transmission. EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration 20 years ago, the exterior was refinished in red. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, fog lights, an accessory hood ornament, chrome mirror caps, a cowl-mounted antenna, a spotlight, black running boards with step plates, a stepside pickup box, a side-mounted spare tire, a wood bed floor, and white tailgate lettering. The selling dealer states that all glass is clear and free of cracks and stars.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
The reportedly original red steel wheels have chrome center caps and trim rings, and come wrapped in whitewall bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat and armrests are upholstered in brown vinyl. Features include manual steering, brakes, and windows; a column-mounted manual shifter; a black vinyl floor mat; and an AM radio.

The newer instrumentation includes an 80-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, battery, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The odometer reads 4,714 miles,which reflects the mileage accrued since the restoration was completed. The true mileage on the vehicle is unknown.

Still 6-Volt. Complete restoration to originality. No Leaks were noted. All Gauges work, and the heater. The drums are all adjusted properly. 4k miles since the restoration. The engine and everything on the truck was replaced or restored at the time of the restoration.
Has this vehicle been upgraded to a 12V system. Also any leaks, do all the gauges work, has the engine had a compression test, are the breaks in good shape? Thank you.
