OVERVIEW

This 1958 Willys Jeep is based on a 1974 Jeep frame and powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, dual fuel tanks, a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo, a 1974 Jeep front clip and hood, a five-inch lift, and 35-inch Cooper tires. Finished in Chevrolet Hugger Orange and equipped with a black bikini top over a black vinyl and cloth interior, this Willys Jeep is available now and comes with an uninstalled soft top and doors, a matching spare wheel and tire, a build sheet, and a clear California title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior was refinished approximately 10 years ago in Chevrolet Hugger Orange. Features include a 1974 Jeep hood and front fenders, a chrome grille, a black folding windshield, and a driver-side mirror. Additional features include a black front bumper, treadplate rocker covers with folding side steps, black wheel well flares, a black roll bar with a bikini top, and a chrome tubular rear bumper with aftermarket lights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 15-inch polished aluminum wheels with manual locking Warn front hubs is wrapped in 35” x 12.50” Cooper Discoverer STT radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl and cloth. Features include a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo, a tilt steering column, rear-mounted speaker boxes, power steering, power brakes, and a body-color steel dashboard with a chrome passenger grab handle. The seller states that the windshield wipers do not work.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The odometer reads 65,311 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. According to the seller, the fuel gauge is inoperative.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit and a dual-range transfer case. Engine bay features include aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum oval air cleaner, dual electric fans, an HEI ignition, block-hugger headers, and a chrome alternator. The seller states that the oil was recently changed. A video of the engine running can be seen below.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The body of this 1958 Jeep has been mated to a 1974 Jeep chassis equipped with 1974 Jeep axles and part-time four-wheel drive. A five-inch lift kit has been installed. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits on the sides ahead of the rear wheels. The original 1958 10-gallon gas tank is mounted underneath the driver’s seat and a 1974 gas tank is located in the rear.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The seller will include an uninstalled soft top and doors along with a build sheet and a matching spare tire and rim as part of the sale.
