1940 CHEVROLET SUPER DELUXE

OVERVIEW

This 1940 Chevrolet Super Deluxe has been upgraded with a new interior, power steering, front disc brakes, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with new speakers, and 15-inch Vision wheels with Fuzion tires. Other features include chrome bumpers, running boards, and dual exhaust outlets. Under the hood is a 350ci Chevrolet V8 connected to a TH350 three-speed automatic. Finished in red over a black vinyl and gray cloth interior, this modified Chevrolet is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear West Virginia title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The red exterior is equipped with chrome bumpers, bright trim, a hood ornament, dual peep mirrors, a V-butt windshield, black running boards, and dual rear exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

This Chevrolet rides on a set of 15" x 8" front and 15" x 10" rear Vision wheels wrapped in Fuzion radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with black vinyl and gray cloth bench seats in the front and back as well as color-matched door panels and trim. Features include vent windows, manual window cranks, an aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel connected to power steering, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, new speakers, and a floor-mounted automatic shifter.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, battery amperage, and other systems. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 43,692 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power from the 350ci V8 is sent through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end to the back wheels. The battery is located in the trunk and equipped with a disconnect switch.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Braking is performed by manual front discs and rear drums.
