OVERVIEW
This 1965 Land Rover Series IIA four-wheel-drive station wagon was reportedly featured on the television show "Wheeler Dealers" and draws power from a 2.25-liter inline-four gas engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It comes with a fresh paint job, a refurbished interior, an upgraded suspension, and new BFGoodrich tires. Finished in green and equipped with a silver and cream top over a black vinyl interior, this Land Rover is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body has been refinished in green; the top features cream side panels and has been repainted silver. Exterior features include a silver front bumper with an inset winch, a folding two-piece windshield, side entry steps, dual mirrors, hardtop vents and windows, rear mud flaps, and a side-hinged tailgate.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
The black steel wheels are wrapped in new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The refurbished interior is fitted with a row of three black vinyl bucket seats up front and dual inboard-facing black vinyl benches in the rear. Features include sliding windows, a spare tire, a carpeted cargo area, rubber floor mats, a brown leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Bluetooth-compatible Kenwood audio system, and rear seat belts.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 95-mph speedometer, an oil pressure warning light, and gauges for the fuel level, oil temperature, and amps. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 38,055 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 2.25-liter inline-four gas engine is equipped with an Optima battery and received a recent tune-up, according to the selling dealer. Power is sent to the wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The selling dealer states the brakes have been rebuilt and the suspension has been upgraded.
