Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This one-owner 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible is equipped with chrome wire wheels, fog lamps, automatic climate control, and woodgrain interior trim. It is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and resided in Texas long-term before being relocated to New Jersey in late 2021. Finished in Signal Red and equipped with a black power-retractable top over a Warm Charcoal leather interior, this XJS is now offered by the selling dealer with a top boot, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The reportedly rust-free Signal Red (paint code CFC) exterior is capped off with a black cloth power-retractable top. Equipment includes fog lamps, a gold "leaper" hood ornament, wheel arch moldings, chrome mirror caps, smoked taillights, a heated glass rear window, and dual exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

The chrome 15-inch mesh wheels are surrounded by radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The two-seat interior is fitted with Warm Charcoal (trim code LEG) leather power-adjustable bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include woodgrain trim, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, power windows, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a carpeted trunk.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 131,322 miles, which aligns with the most recent figure logged on the CARFAX report in November 2021.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 4.0-liter inline-six was rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque when new. The air conditioning refrigerant and associated service valves were replaced within the last 2,000 miles, per the CARFAX report. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Steering is power-assisted. Stopping is performed by power four-wheel disc brakes. The CARFAX report shows that the brake pads were replaced within the last 2,000 miles.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report shows this is a one-owner vehicle with no accidents or damage on record. A $299 dealership fee will be added to the purchase price. The sale includes a black convertible top boot.
