1969 Ford Bronco 4-Speed

OVERVIEW

This two-owner 1969 Ford Bronco 4x4 comes equipped with new Cooper tires, new suspension hardware, and a RetroSound Bluetooth audio system. It is powered by a 302ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes new locking front hubs, a padded dash, and a bench seat in the rear cargo area. Finished in two-tone Cordova and ivory and equipped with an ivory removable hardtop over a refurbished Parchment vinyl interior, this first-generation Bronco is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report and a clear California title in the seller’s name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Cordova body (color code H) is accented with ivory bumpers, fender flares, and a matching removable hardtop with a patina. Features include a folding windshield, a driver-side mirror, bodyside moldings, a drop-down tailgate, a flip-up rear window, and a swing-away spare tire carrier. The upper body surfaces show wear consistent with age as shown in the gallery on the right. The seller notes a small rust area on a bottom corner of the passenger-side door.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

The new white 15-inch wheels are wrapped in new 31" x 9.5" Cooper Discoverer tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with reupholstered Parchment vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench seat in the rear, matched to the door panels and lower dash area. The seller notes that the carpet, headliner, and floor pans have been replaced. Features include aluminum door sill plates and a Bluetooth-compatible RetroSound radio with upgraded speakers.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and surrounding gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 55,415 miles, but the seller states it may have rolled over.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 302ci V8 is said to be mechanically sound and leak-free. It has a chrome-finished air cleaner and received a new radiator, an electronic ignition system, a fuel pressure regulator, and replacement spark plugs under the seller’s ownership. Power is sent to all four wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and new locking front hubs. The seller notes a small, non-structural rust spot on an inner engine bay fender well has been treated.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Additional work performed under the seller’s ownership includes the replacement of the shock absorbers and steering stabilizer, and the addition of a Flowmaster exhaust system with dual outlets.
