This 1969 Chevelle is finished in matte gray with black Grand Sport stripes over a black interior, and power is provided by a 6.2L LS3 V8 paired with a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission. The car has been heavily modified with performance upgrades, including a partial roll cage, coil-over suspension, disc brakes, racing seats, and 3-piece forged wheels. Built-in the late 2000's by a previous owner in California, the current owner acquired the car in 2017 and relocated it to Arizona. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, this 1969 Chevelle is now offered for sale with partial receipts and records from the initial build as well as all records from current ownership.
The body is finished in matte gray with black Grand Sport style stripes on the front fenders and accented with a matte black decklid. The factory Super Sport style hood features billet aluminum hood pins from Ring Brothers, and front end trim pieces were replaced. All additional chrome is in good condition, including the dual side mirrors and bumpers, while a battery kill switch is mounted on the rear bumper.
The Chevelle rides on 3-piece forged Fikse P113 wheels with a polished finish. The braking system consists of drilled and slotted discs on all four corners with C6 corvette calipers and a Wilwood dual reservoir master cylinder. The front suspension features tubular control arms and a sway bar, with adjustable coil-overs front and rear.
The interior features black Corbeau racing seats with Crow Enterprizes multi-point racing harness. A full roll cage has been integrated with a drop bar on the doors for easier entry and exit. A sound-deadening mat has been installed underneath the black carpeting and on the roof, while the rear seat and stereo system have been removed for weight savings. A billet aluminum shifter with Alcantara shift boot is mounted on the transmission tunnel, along with a chrome parking brake handle. A three-spoke Sparco steering wheel with Alcantara rim is mounted on a tilt steering column
Instrumentation is made up of Autometer Pro Comp gauges and consists of a 160mph speedometer and 10k rpm tachometer, along with ancillary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer reads just over 3800 miles, which are since the completion of the build.
Power is provided by a crate LS3 from GM Performance backed by a Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission. Performance upgrades include long tube headers, custom fabricated cold air intake, ECU tune, and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator. Additional features include a custom fabricated upper radiator bracket, stainless steel fuel tank, and trunk-mounted battery. Since acquiring the car in 2017, the car has routinely maintained and serviced by Speed Sports in Gilbert Arizona, invoices and records are available in the gallery.
The sale includes all service records from the current owner's tenure, partial records from the previous owner, and copies of various magazines the car has appeared in.
