RESERVE REMOVED: RIGHT-HAND-DRIVE 1949 MG TC

OVERVIEW

This 1949 MG TC is a body-off restoration powered by a 1.3-liter inline four-cylinder engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include right-hand drive, new upholstery, a newer convertible top and side curtains, and newly rebuilt carburetors. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the exterior was finished in black. Features include a front fog light, a chrome radiator shell with a red insert, chrome headlight buckets, dual driver-side mirrors, a folding chrome windshield frame, a four-piece folding hood, rear-opening doors, a black folding convertible top, and a rear spare tire bracket. The seller states that the brightwork is in excellent condition and the convertible top and side curtains were replaced two years ago.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 19-inch wire wheels with knock-off center caps is wrapped in bias-ply tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The split bench seat is covered in new red vinyl. Features include manual steering and brakes, a floor-mounted shifter, electric windshield wipers, a cowl-mounted rearview mirror, and a three-spoke steering wheel.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, a 6,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the oil pressure and amps are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reportedly reads 23,000 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
