Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback is a restored pony car powered by a 289ci V8 mated to a C4 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes bucket seats, front and rear spoilers, American Racing wheels, front disc brakes, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in Viper Blue with white accent striping over a black vinyl interior, this reportedly award-winning Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Missouri title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The reportedly rust-free body was repainted Viper Blue and accented with white striping during a complete restoration. Exterior features include auxiliary lights, a chin spoiler, a hood scoop, dual mirrors, quarter window louvers, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

American Racing five-spoke aluminum wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with black vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, carpeting, and dash. Amenities include a radio, Mustang-branded floor mats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a vinyl trunk liner.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the coolant temperature and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 82,405 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 289ci V8 directs power to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted C4 three-speed automatic transmission.

Looks like no A/C. Correct? Is "Viper Blue" a Ford or custom color?
