CATERPILLAR TURBODIESEL-POWERED 2006 FORD F-750

OVERVIEW

This 2006 Ford F-750 Super Duty is an extended-cab dually pickup powered by a Caterpillar 7.2-liter turbodiesel inline-six mated to an Allison push-button six-speed automatic transmission. It has been California- and Arizona-owned since new and features clearance lights, side steps, a Kenwood audio system, Alcoa wheels, and a bed liner. Finished in white over a two-tone gray leather interior, this F-750 is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Arizona title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The white exterior features a new windshield, chrome brightwork, running boards with side steps, tow mirrors, cab clearance lights, entry grab-handles, rear-hinged rear doors, a plastic drop-in bed liner, a passenger-side-exit exhaust outlet, mud flaps, and towing connections. 

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Polished aluminum 22.5-inch Alcoa wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The interior of the cab is trimmed with two-tone charcoal and gray leather captain’s chairs with fold-down armrests up front, a bench with a fold-up bottom cushion in the second row, and complementary gray materials for the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat, a center console with storage and cup holders, tinted power windows, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD head unit, and air conditioning.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 49,475 miles. In March 2010, the mileage logged on the CARFAX report was 301,408 miles; a Mileage Inconsistency entry was made in May 2021 when the reported mileage was 49,475 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

A clamshell hood opens to the Caterpillar 7.2-liter turbodiesel inline-six, which received an oil change in March and benefitted from about 30 other service appointments over the vehicle’s lifetime, per the CARFAX report. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a push-button Allison six-speed automatic transmission.
