The Sunburst Gold Clearcoat exterior was outfitted when new with Saleen upgrades which include urethane components for the front fascia, side skirts, rear fascia, side scoops, and rear wing. Additional exterior features include a black power-retractable soft top, a styling bar, a Saleen windshield graphic, S281 badging, and a bumper decal identifying this as vehicle number 726 in Saleen's 2000 model year production run of 979 cars. The seller notes that there are hairline cracks in the bottom of the front fascia and minor scratches in other areas.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The four-passenger Dark Charcoal leather interior houses bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include Saleen floor mats, embroidered Mustang logos, air conditioning, a Mach 460 AM/FM/CD audio system, remote keyless entry, power windows, power door locks, performance pedals, a serialized console plaque, and a Saleen shift knob. The seller adds that there is light wear on the driver’s seat and a blemish on the front passenger-side seat cushion.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 4.6-liter V8 was originally rated at 285 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque and was last serviced in August 2022. It was enhanced when new with performance additions from Saleen that include a power pulley, a performance air filter, and upgraded mufflers. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter. UNDERCARRIAGE

The suspension has been upgraded by the installation of Saleen front and rear springs along with a Saleen front sway bar. Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
