Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This all-steel 1931 Ford Model A Victoria is powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include air conditioning, a tilt steering column, bucket seats, a sunroof, power windows, power front disc brakes, and a 1932 Ford radiator shell. Finished in turquoise and white with turquoise and white vinyl, this rust-free 1931 Ford Model A Victoria is available now and comes with repair receipts and a clear Texas title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The all-steel body and fenders are finished in single stage turquoise and white. Features include removed bumpers, a white front spreader bar with turn signals, a chrome dropped headlight bar with white headlight buckets, a 1932 Ford radiator shell, flame fender accents, a three-piece steel hood with louvers, a shaved cowl, dual rearview mirrors, a single windshield wiper, a flush-mount front windshield, a color-keyed sunroof, black running boards, a custom rear fuel filler, accent pinstriping and lettering, and custom tear drop taillights. The seller states that the paint is in good condition and the PPG paint codes will be supplied.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of steel wheels, finished in red with chrome dog dish hub caps and trim rings, is wrapped in new whitewall tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats, the rear trim, and door panels are upholstered in turquoise vinyl with white inserts. Features include a tilt steering column, power windows, air conditioning, and a rear storage compartment with a RedTop Optima battery mount. The seller notes a few items which will need attention. The passenger door handle linkage does not work and the window must be rolled down in order to open the door from the inside, and the emergency brake handle release button is broken. Additionally, the air conditioning does work currently, however the seller states that a slow leak is present and R134 must be added once a year.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of Dolphin gauges, including a 140-mph speedometer, a 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, water temperature, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 8,339 miles which the seller reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include finned aluminum valve covers, a polished aluminum intake, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air conditioning compressor, a chrome alternator, a polished aluminum air cleaner, and an HEI distributor. A video of the engine running can be seen below. An oil change was completed in the last three months.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This chassis has been modified to accept a chrome tube dropped front axle, mounted with a four-link, and an eight-inch Ford solid rear drive axle with chrome triangulated ladder bars and a panhard bar. The chassis, underbody floors, and suspension components are finished in turquoise. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The seller will include maintenance and repair receipts as part of the sale.

@Jpine – Has the engine been rebuilt? What type cam? ...

Yes, the engine has been rebuilt along with the transmission based on what previous owner disclosed with 8,300+ miles on both since. I am not sure what type of cam it has but it does have a mild lope.
