OVERVIEW
This frame-off-restored 1964 Austin-Healey Sprite is powered by an upgraded 1,275cc inline four-cylinder engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include front disc brakes, a Haartz manual cloth convertible top, bucket seats, and color-matched wire wheels. Finished in Isis Blue and equipped with a dark blue soft top over a dark blue leather interior, this Sprite comes from the selling dealer with restoration documentation, a removable convertible top frame, a black vinyl tonneau cover, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, this Sprite was refinished in Isis Blue and equipped with a manual dark blue cloth Haartz convertible top. Features include chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, a bright windshield frame, and an external gas cap. A full walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of body-color wire wheels with knock-off center caps is wrapped in Pirelli radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bucket seats, dash pad, and door panels are upholstered in dark blue leather. Features include newer dark blue carpeting, manual brakes and steering, and a center tunnel-mounted shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 62,638 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an upgraded 1,275cc inline four-cylinder engine equipped with dual one-barrel carburetors and backed by a four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Austin-Healey was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. All suspension components have been cleaned and refinished in matte black mated to a body-color chassis and underbody assembly. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums. A single exhaust exits at the rear.
