OVERVIEW
This restored 1964½ Ford Mustang is powered by a 289ci V8 engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power convertible top, bucket seats, chromed styled steel wheels and an AM radio. Finished in Pagoda Green with black vinyl, this rust-free 1964½ Ford Mustang is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Texas title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This 1964½ Mustang was built at the Dearborn, Michigan assembly plant on April 21st,1964. The exterior is finished in the original color of Pagoda Green (code B) as verified by the data tag. Features include chrome bumpers, 289 engine call-out emblems, driver’s rear-view mirror, fender-mounted antenna, rocker trim, power white convertible top and luggage rack.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch chrome Styled Steel wheels is wrapped in 205/70/14 Firestone whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl matching the original trim as verified by code 86 on the data tag. Features include manual steering and brakes, floor-mounted shifter, AM radio, manual windows, and black steel dashboard with black top pad.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 86,360 miles which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a D-code 289ci V8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor backed by a four-speed manual transmission. All underhood components have been restored and maintained to factory specifications.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Mustang is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and solid rear-drive axle with 3.00:1 gear ratio. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A factory dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
