OVERVIEW

Features include power steering, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, tilt steering column, and Ford nine-inch rear axle with an Eaton Detroit Truetrac Locker differential and Hotchkiss tubular suspension components. Finished in blue with black and white vinyl and cloth houndstooth interior, this rust-free 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear North Carolina title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the recent rotisserie restoration, the exterior was refinished in blue. Features include chrome bumpers with bumper guards, RS trim package with hide-a-way headlights, SS emblems, Super Sport hood, rocker and wheel well trim, dual rear-view mirrors, and RS taillights and reverse lights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats and rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl with black and white houndstooth cloth inserts. Features include power steering, manual brakes, floor-mounted shifter, woodgrain accents, red retro-look stereo and blue roll cage.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The instrument panel consists of a 140-mph speedometer, 9,000-rpm tachometer and fuel gauge. A set of three gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure and voltage are located under the dashboard. The odometer reading is not disclosed.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a Winston Cup Series specification 358ci V8 producing a reported 725 horsepower with 12:1 compression. It is backed by a M23 severe-duty Muncie four-speed manual transmission with straight-cut gears and hydraulic heavy-duty racing clutch. Engine bay features include a dry-sump high-pressure forced oiling system, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, aluminum intake, tubular headers with a high-temperature coating, and shaved black firewall.
