454-POWERED 1982 GMC C1500

OVERVIEW

This frame-off restored 1982 GMC C1500 is powered by a 454ci big block V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Power features include steering, Hydroboost front disc brakes, windows, and locks. Additional features include a Dakota Digital gauge panel, a digital AM/FM Pioneer stereo, a wood bed floor, and a pro-street style narrowed rear axle. Finished in red with tan vinyl interior, this 1982 GMC C1500 is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a CARFAX report and a clear Arizona title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the exterior was refinished in red. Features include a chrome front bumper, a cowl induction hood, dual rearview mirrors, a short step side pickup box, an oak bed floor with stainless strips, hidden tailgate latches, and custom taillights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 17-inch Boyd Coddington aluminum wheels is wrapped in Atrezzo Sailun 245/45/17 radial tires in front and 345/55/17 BFGoodrich radial T/A tires in the rear.   

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bench seat and door panels are upholstered in tan vinyl. Features include power steering and brakes, power windows, billet door grab and exit handles, a billet aluminum steering wheel with a tan grip, a column-mounted shifter, a digital Pioneer AM/FM stereo, a custom center console with cup holders, and a red steel dashboard with a tan top pad.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of LCD Dakota Digital gauges including an 80-mph speedometer, a 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The digital odometer is not disclosed. The last reported mileage of 10,189 was logged on the CARFAX report on April 20, 2011.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 454ci big block V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include cast-aluminum valve covers finished in red, an aluminum intake, a Quick Fuel double pumper four-barrel carburetor, a custom air cleaner finished in red, an MSD electronic ignition, and a red firewall with red inner fenders.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This GMC is equipped with an independent front suspension and a narrowed pro-street styled rear axle. Braking is provided by Hydroboost power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear tires.
