OVERVIEW
This 1969 Land Rover Series IIA was restored over the course of approximately three years. It is powered by a rebuilt 2,250cc inline four-cylinder backed by a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission and a four-wheel-drive system with a dual-range transfer case. Features include new aluminum body panels, new braking and electrical systems, new seats, a larger stainless steel fuel tank, and a new custom-built exhaust system. Finished in English Green and equipped with a new cinnamon tan removable soft top over a black vinyl interior, this Land Rover comes with the original manual, a service booklet, and a clear Mississippi title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The company that restored this Land Rover is based in four countries and has restored more than 50 vehicles. During the restoration process, all of the bodywork was replaced with aluminum panels, and the exterior was refinished in English Green. Features include a silver front bumper, dual rearview mirrors, a hood-mounted spare tire, a folding split windshield, sliding door windows, a new cinnamon tan canvas roof with plastic windows and a new frame, a locking fuel cap, a rear tailgate, and a trailer hitch. All exterior lights, lenses, door locks, and tailgate chains are new. The seller states that the front bumper and all of the moldings were sandblasted and galvanized as they were before this Series IIA left the factory in England.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of new 16-inch tan steel wheels is wrapped in new Runway Enduro M/T radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The new front bench seat and the new rear seats are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual steering and brakes, sliding door windows, floor-mounted transmission and transfer case shifters, and a black vinyl floor covering. The electrical system is completely new and every light bulb, cable, and mechanism is reportedly functional. The seller states that all of the rubber, soft trim, glass mechanisms, windows, seals, screws, and nuts are new. A full walk-around video that shows a road test and the new bulbs working can be seen below.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-km/h speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, amps, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer shows 7,244 kilometers (4,501 miles), but the true kilometrage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt 2,250cc inline four-cylinder and backed by a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission and a four-wheel drive system with a dual-range transfer case. The seller states that a new original crankshaft was installed, the radiator has new panels and a restored top tank, and the hoses and belts have been replaced.
UNDERCARRIAGE

According to the seller, the drivetrain, chassis, and suspension components have been repaired and restored. In addition, the body floors have been replaced and a new larger stainless steel fuel tank has been installed. The new braking system consists of manual four-wheel drums. A new custom-built single exhaust system exits at the rear.
