1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

This 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce convertible is finished in black over a tan leather interior and is powered by a twin-cam 2.0-liter inline-4 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission.  The vehicle was originally sold in New Jersey and spent time in four other states before being relocated to Florida in 2016, where it resides today.  Equipment includes power windows and mirrors, a modern audio system, cruise control, and a retractable cloth convertible top.  Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this Spider is now offered with a CARFAX report on a clean Florida title in the seller’s name. 

The car is finished in black with color-matched front and rear bumpers.  A retractable black cloth convertible top is equipped with a plastic rear window with no tears or snags.  All trim and brightwork are in good condition, and Pininfarina emblems are affixed on each rear quarter. A single exhaust with a chrome tip exits at the center rear of the vehicle bumper. 

Factory 15” phone-dial alloy wheels are mounted to 195/60 Michelin tires on all four corners. Braking is provided by power discs all around.

The interior is equipped with tan leather bucket seats with cloth inserts and contrasting black carpeting.  The two-tone scheme is carried throughout the door panels and dash, with the parking brake handle and boot matching in tan.   The factory head unit has been replaced with an aftermarket JVC stereo with AM/FM/CD compatibility and cruise control has been added.  

Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, and accompanying gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature.  The 6-digit odometer reads 43k miles; however, the odometer stopped operating about 300 miles ago, according to the seller. There is also an odometer rollback entry on the CARFAX report; true mileage is unknown.    

The 2.0-liter inline-4 is original to the vehicle and was factory-rated at 125 horsepower.  Equipped with Bosch fuel injection, the engine utilizes a dual overhead cam design with 4 valves per cylinder.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Bosch 3-speed automatic transmission.

The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage reported; however, there is an odometer rollback entry in July 2002 when the vehicle was sold at auction.
