25k-Mile 1979 Lincoln Continental Collectors Series

This 1979 Lincoln Continental Collector’s Series is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a blue interior and blue vinyl top and is powered by a 400ci V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Showing 25,449 miles on the odometer, factory equipment includes power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, a power glass sunroof, and cruise control. Service performed in the last six months includes an oil change and replacement of all fluids, while a full detail and paint correction was completed in summer 2020. This Continental is now offered with a clean Washington State title in the seller's name.

Finished Midnight Blue Metallic, this Collector Series Lincoln features gold grille and bumper inserts, gold pinstripes, a power antenna, power operated glass roof and a color-matched vinyl top. “Collector’s Series” badging is affixed to each rear sail panel. Clear paint protection film has been added on the front end to protect from rock chips while driving, and the front headlights have been upgraded to halogen units with green "angle-eye" running lights.

Factory 15” turbine-style cast aluminum wheels are mounted with a set of BF Goodrich whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering and brakes.

Offered in two variations on the Collectors Series, the interior is all original and features Comfort Lounge seats are covered in Kasman II luxury cloth with matching door panels. The interior features wood accents, an in-dash Cartier clock, 40 channel CB radio, and power windows and door locks. The seller has installed an aftermarket keyless entry system and in-dash motorized screen with DVD and Bluetooth capability, and a rearview camera. The original 8 track player will accompany the vehicle. Additional features include 36oz deep pile carpeting, power sunroof, electric window defroster, heated driver's side mirror, and auto-dimming headlights.

Instrumentation includes an 85 mph speedometer and fuel-level gauge, while the wood-accented steering wheel houses a horn bar and operates the cruise control. The analog odometer currently reads 25,449 miles, which are claimed original and actual by the seller. 7k of which have been added over four years of ownership.

The 400ci V8 is factory rated at 159 hp and retains all the original components. The engine bay is unrestored and recent maintenance includes an oil change and replacement of all fluids in the last 6 months. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed C6 Select-Shift automatic transmission.
