OVERVIEW
This restored 1968 Plymouth Road Runner is powered by a 383ci V8 backed by a 727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, front disc brakes and AM radio. Finished in Medium Green metallic with dark and light green vinyl interior, this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner is available now and comes from the selling dealer with two build sheets, fender tag and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the recently completed restoration, the exterior was refinished in Medium Green metallic. Features include matte black bumpers, black grille with bright trim, hood trim with 383 engine call-outs, fender-mounted antenna, Road Runner emblems and decals, and trunk trim with Plymouth emblem.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of steel wheels is wrapped in Cooper Cobra radial G/T tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat and matching rear seat have been upholstered in dark and light green vinyl. Features include manual windows and brakes, power steering, AM radio, column-mounted shifter and driver-side manual remote mirror.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The instrument panel includes a 120-mph speedometer, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The odometer reads 75,512 miles, with 500 miles added since the restoration, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 383ci V8 backed by a 727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Road Runner is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear-drive axle with 3.23:1 gear ratio. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
