Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro two-door hardtop has been overhauled inside and out. It is powered by a 454ci big-block mated to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades include Yenko, Z/28 and SS liveries, headers, Mallory ignition system, Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Rally wheels shod in staggered BFGoodrich tires. Finished in LeMans Blue over black and white vinyl and houndstooth interior, this Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear California title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This Camaro two-door hardtop’s LeMans Blue finish is dressed in white Yenko tribute striping along the sides. Exterior features include chrome brightwork, Z/28 and SS badging, eggcrate grille, Cowl Induction system, dual side-view mirrors, rear spoiler and dual exhaust system.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Steel 15-inch Rally wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in staggered BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires,205-series up front and 245-series in the rear.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is trimmed in black vinyl and white houndstooth bucket seats up front, matching rear bench seat and all-black vinyl for the door panels, padded dash and carpeting. The instrument panel is accented in woodgrain veneer and features such amenities as a passenger grab-handle, Superior wood-rimmed steering wheel, B&M shift lever, and Custom Autosound retro-look FM radio with USB connectivity.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. Ancillary gauges include a column-mounted 8,000-rpm tachometer along with gauges mounted beneath the dash showing voltage, oil pressure and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 18,374 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The big-block 454ci V8 has been upgraded with headers, Mallory electronic ignition system, Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Edelbrock RPM Performer aluminum intake. Service was performed in March per the selling dealer, and torque is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
