OVERVIEW

This 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 4x4 received a repaint, a refurbished interior, and later-model 17-inch aluminum wheels as part of a refresh and was imported to Miami, Florida under the seller’s ownership. Instrumentation includes a 160-km/h speedometer and supporting gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 216,225 kilometers (134,356 miles); the true kilometrage on the chassis is unknown. The seller notes that the gauges have intermittent fuse issues.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The overhauled 2F 4.2-liter inline-six directs power to all four wheels via a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes that the vehicle was serviced before being listed on AutoHunter and that the fluids were changed and all the filters were replaced.

The seller reports replacement flooring was installed where corrosion was previously present.
