OVERVIEW
This 2001 BMW 330Ci convertible has been garage-kept by the seller for the last seven years and features fog lamps, woodgrain interior trim, newer Falken tires on 17-inch M wheels, sport suspension, and a replacement clutch. It is powered by an M54 3.0-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Finished in Orient Blue Metallic and equipped with a dark blue power-retractable soft top over a Sand leather interior, this E46 330Ci is now offered with two keys, owner’s manuals, service records, a CARFAX report, and a clear District of Columbia title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Orient Blue Metallic exterior is capped off with a dark blue power-retractable cloth top. Features include xenon headlights, headlight washers, fog lamps, and bright exhaust tips. The seller has provided detailed images of specific areas that have blemishes and notes that the passenger-side tonneau hinge flap cover requires a new spring to snap into place.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
The 17-inch Style 68M M wheels are wrapped in new 225/45 Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S tires that have accrued fewer than 1,000 miles.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The 2+2 interior is equipped with heated and power-adjustable Sand leather bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching door panels, lower dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include woodgrain trim, automatic climate control, an audio system, power windows, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 155-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 125,142 miles, which is in line with the most recent mileage figure of 124,191 miles logged on the CARFAX report in April 2022 during an emissions inspection.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The M54B30 3.0-liter inline-six was rated at 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque when new. The clutch was reportedly replaced within the last 10,000 miles; the shift linkage has been serviced under the seller’s ownership. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The underpinnings have been upgraded with an M Sport suspension that was serviced in 2017. Stopping power comes from ventilated anti-lock disc brakes.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report shows minor damage from 2008 that involved the car being rear-ended by another vehicle. A Vermont safety and emissions inspection was completed in April 2022. The seller has provided videos below that show a start-up, driving footage, and the convertible top getting lowered. @marvt2001 – Hi Alleycat, I purchased the car in 2016 when I lived in DC. Moved to Vermont in 2020. Vermont only issues new titles for vehicles that are 15 years old or newer. So the registration itself serves as the title in the State of Vermont, but I will also pass along the clean, signed DC title. https://dmv.vermont.gov/tax-title/vehicle-title ...
Thank you !

@Alleycat – hello again....is the passcode available for the radio, if need be ? ...
Hi Alleycat, I'm not aware of it, however I have all the original documentation for the car, including the original window sticker, which I will post in a moment. FYI I have had the battery disconnected, and it did not require a radio code to reset the radio.
