OVERVIEW
This restored 1968 Chevrolet C10 was featured on the cover of the November 1992 issue of Hot Rod magazine. It is powered by a ZZ4 383ci V8 stroker engine backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, a molded front roll pan, shaved door handles, an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, Vintage Air air conditioning, and rear air shocks with an onboard compressor. Finished in teal over a tan vinyl interior, this C10 comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration under previous ownership, the exterior was finished in teal. Features include a molded front roll pan, frenched amber front turn signals, a molded grille shell, colored-matched grille and headlight trim, shaved fender marker lights, a driver-side mirror, and shaved door handles. Additional features include a shaved cab fuel filler neck, a frenched antenna, a short fleetside pickup bed, bed-mounted Pontiac Trans Am fender vents, shaved bed marker lights, a hinged black vinyl tonneau cover, shaved reverse lights, and wide inner bed fenders. Other custom elements include a relocated fuel tank and battery, a louvered tailgate with a shaved handle, clear taillights, and a molded rear roll pan.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of three-spoke, staggered-width Weld Racing wheels is wrapped in radial tires in the front and 29” x 15.50” Hoosier Pro Street radial tires in the rear.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in tan vinyl. Features include a tilt steering column, a floor-mounted billet shifter, power steering and brakes, manual windows, a billet steering wheel with a tan grip, teal metal surfaces with a tan dashboard pad, a glove box-mounted rear air shock switch, an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, and Vintage Air air conditioning.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are located in an aluminum panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 2,734 miles, which the selling dealer believes is the mileage accrued since the restoration was completed. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a ZZ4 383ci V8 stroker engine and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with a B&M shift kit. Engine bay features include Vortec heads, black valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a black air cleaner, and an aluminum radiator. A safety inspection has been performed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This C10 is equipped with an independent front suspension and a narrowed Ford nine-inch solid rear drive axle with a limited-slip differential, air shocks, and an onboard compressor. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.

Yes, a hood adjustment would help. The chrome hood hinges are older. After closing the hood down on each side you can push it down and the hood will more flush.
