This body-off, rotisserie-restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is powered by a Chevrolet 283ci V8 backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering and brakes, tinted glass, electric wipers, and a Wonder Bar radio. Finished in Tuxedo Black and equipped with a power-operated black vinyl convertible top over a red and silver vinyl interior, this Bel Air comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the exterior was finished in Tuxedo Black. Features include chrome bumpers with accessory front bumper guards, gold emblems and grille, electric windshield wipers, dual side mirrors, Bel Air side trim, power-operated black vinyl convertible top with a plastic rear window, and rear antenna.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of gray 15-inch wheels is wrapped in 7.00-15 BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bench seat, rear seat, and interior trim are upholstered in red and silver vinyl. Features include electric wipers, power steering and brakes, Wonder Bar AM radio, column-mounted shifter, manual windows, and red vinyl convertible top boot.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The odometer reads 571 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 283ci V8 and backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Bel Air was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear.
