OVERVIEW
This 1990 Subaru Sambar AWD is a right-hand-drive Kei-class fire truck that receives power from a 658cc four-cylinder mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It has been modified to serve as a utility vehicle for tailgate events and features a television mount, a 28-inch Blackstone grille, storage compartments, an intercom radio, and newer tires. Finished in red over a gray vinyl interior, this Sambar is now offered with a clear Arkansas title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red paint finish comes with gold door decals as well as black accents for the bumpers, mirror caps, and door handles. The rear utility section is equipped with black vinyl two-passenger bench seating, a diamond tread plate aluminum floor, storage compartments, a fire extinguisher, a propane-fueled 28-inch Blackstone grille, a beverage cooler, and cab-mounted lights and sirens. The rear utility box comes with mounting provisions for a flatscreen television as shown in the gallery to the right, although a TV is not included with the sale.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel wheels with newer covers and body-color accents are wrapped in newer off-road tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The right-hand-drive interior is fitted with dual gray vinyl bucket seats, matched to the door panels and dash. Amenities include rubber floor mats, an intercom radio, an AM/FM radio, a heater, and controls for the Osaka Siren equipment.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 140-km/h speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 4,894 kilometers (3,044 miles), which the seller asserts is true kilometrage.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The “Clover 4” 658cc inline-four received fluid changes in 2022. Power is sent to all four wheels via a floor-shifted five-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

There is a new Blackstone 28-in grill with a slide to make it easy to maneuver in the tailgate. There's also a mounting bracket for a big screen TV on the side it will hold up to a 55-in screen. Under the back seat is a space for holding beverages of your choosing. It also has a place for a cooler. The mounting bracket comes with the truck, the big screen TV does not come with it. I also have Razorback decals to put on the truck to make it the ultimate tailgate vehicle or you can put any school that you wish. Take it to a game or pancake day or put your company logo on the truck. Perfect for tailgating, functions or hamburger cookouts.
