OVERVIEW
This 1970 El Camino is powered by a 350ci V8 backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, spray-on Rhino liner, Alpine digital AM/FM/CD stereo, tubular front control arms, and air conditioning. Finished in black with black vinyl interior, this El Camino comes from the selling dealer with restoration and parts receipts, and a clear Arizona title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in black. Features include chrome bumpers, red SS stripes, dual color-matched rear-view mirrors, black vinyl tonneau cover, rubber bed floor mat, and chrome bed-side trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome Cragar wheels is wrapped in new 235/60/15 (front) and 255/60/15 (rear) BFGoodrich radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl. Features include power brakes and steering, column-mounted transmission shifter, manual windows, air conditioning, custom three-spoke steering wheel, Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, and crack-free black dashboard top pad. The selling dealer states that this vehicle does not have a heater installed.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer and gauge for the fuel level. A set of aftermarket gauges for the coolant temperature and oil pressure is mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 30,797 miles, but the actual miles on this vehicle are unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 with a Comp Cams camshaft backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Engine features include aluminum valve covers, aluminum intake manifold, and chrome air cleaner. A new brake master cylinder and power booster have been installed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This El Camino is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and solid rear-drive axle with 3.73:1 gears. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear. The selling dealer states that all of the tubular control arms and front suspension components are new, as are the axles. An underglow lighting kit that flashes with the audio system has been installed.
