OVERVIEW
This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu hardtop went through an inside-and-out restoration under prior ownership and is powered by a 350cid small-block V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include American Racing wheels, bucket seats, and front disc brakes. Finished in red over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Chevelle is now offered with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body was repainted red under prior ownership. Exterior features include quad headlights, chrome brightwork, dual mirrors, and Malibu SS rear quarter-panel badging.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
American Racing polished aluminum wheels are sized 17 inches up front and 18 inches in the rear, and come wrapped in Ohtsu tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is trimmed with black vinyl low-back bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching door panels, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include aluminum dash trim, manual-crank windows, lap belts, a custom steering wheel, a radio, and a vinyl-lined trunk compartment with a spare tire.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge that shows the coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. Additionally, an aftermarket gauge pod is mounted underneath the dash. A five-digit mechanical odometer tracks mileage, although the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 350cid small-block V8 feeds power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from disc brakes up front and drums in the rear.
