OVERVIEW
This 1970 Chevrolet CST/10 received a $100,000+ frame-off rotisserie restoration, according to the selling dealer. It is powered by a 350ci V8 crate engine backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, bucket seats, a lowered suspension, and Hedman headers. Finished in Jet Black over a black vinyl and houndstooth cloth interior, this Chevrolet short-bed truck is available now and comes from the selling dealer with the Service Parts Identification plate and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was refinished in Jet Black during the frame-off restoration completed within the last 500 miles. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, a cowl-induction hood, CST trim, dual mirrors, a cab-mounted fuel tank, a short fleetside pickup box, and tailgate trim. The selling dealer states that more than $1,500 was spent on swirl corrections and ceramic-coating the paint.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Chevy Rally wheels with chrome center caps and tribar spinners and trim rings is wrapped in 275/60/15 front and 285/70/15 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with black and white houndstooth cloth inserts. Features include a black vinyl headliner with chrome trim, power steering, power brakes, black vinyl door panels with manual windows, woodgrain trim, a tilt steering column with an automatic transmission shifter, air conditioning, a RetroSound AM/FM stereo, and a three-spoke billet steering wheel with a wood rim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 100-mph speedometer, a 5K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 66,072 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 crate engine and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome Moroso valve covers, an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, a chrome air cleaner, an MSD ignition, and a set of Hedman headers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This truck was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle mounted with trailing arms. The suspension has been lowered. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This Chevrolet truck was previously sold on AutoHunter, but it is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. The Service Parts Identification plate included with the purchase of this truck shows it came from the factory finished in black and equipped with Custom Sport Truck trim, a short bed, and air conditioning. Tours of the exterior and interior are shown in the video below.
@TimothyBush – What was buyers reason for backing out? I’d need to know this to be able to bid on this truck ...
Hello @TimothyBush. The previous gentleman "backed out" because the reserve was not met in the previous auction, and, the high-bidder did not desire to increase his maximum bid even, with the help of AutoHunter's team.
