This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette has been with the seller for 16 years and has always been garaged. It is powered by a 365-horsepower LS5 454ci Chevrolet V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The seller states that the convertible top is in good condition but has a small tear in the right rear corner that can be easily fixed.

A set of 15-inch Chevrolet Rally wheels is wrapped in new BFGoodrich radial tires with 100 miles logged.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The seller reports that the original interior color was saddle, but that was replaced with black leather to contrast with the Sunflower Yellow exterior. Features include a center console with a manual transmission shifter, power steering, manual windows, an upgraded Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo, woodgrain accents, air conditioning, and a three-spoke steering wheel.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The instrument panel includes a 160-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, clock and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure and temperature. The odometer reads 75,764, which the seller reports to be accurate; he added 1,562 miles during ownership.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is supplied by a rebuilt 365-horsepower LS5 454ci Chevrolet V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner lid. An oil change was performed in October 2022. According to the seller, they were told the engine is original, but has been rebuilt and the VIN number has been removed. 

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Corvette is factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension with rear-drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel power disc brakes. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
