OVERVIEW
This four-wheel-drive 1989 Ford Bronco II XLT is powered by a 2.9-liter V6 backed by a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include power steering and brakes, air conditioning, power windows and locks, folding rear seats, and several newer parts. Additional features include roof crossbars, an AM/FM/CD stereo, a swing-away spare tire carrier, and cruise control. Finished in Scarlet Red and Colonial White over a Scarlet Red cloth interior, this Bronco II comes with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in Scarlet Red and Colonial White. Features include chrome bumpers with black trim, aluminum running boards, dual side mirrors, window vent shades, side pinstriping, a roof rack, rear privacy glass, and a swing-away spare tire carrier with a tan cover. The seller states that the hood's clear coat is peeling off.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Bronco II wheels with manual locking front hubs is wrapped in 30” x 9.50” Mazama Open Range All Terrain tires that were installed in May 2021.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the folding rear seats are upholstered in Scarlet Red cloth. Features include power steering and brakes, air conditioning, power windows and locks, folding rear seats, floor-mounted transmission and transfer case shifters, cruise control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. Tears in the upholstery and dashboard are shown in the gallery to the right.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 57,087 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage of 50,242 was logged on the CARFAX report on April 28, 2017. A mileage inconsistency was reported on June 22, 2012.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 2.9-liter V6 and backed by a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A new battery, fuel pressure regulator, and MAP sensor were installed in May 2023. The air compressor and power brake booster were replaced in 2021. A Duralast alternator, three Duralast V-belts, and a Duralast starter solenoid were put in two years earlier.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Bronco II was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension, a solid rear axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. Four KYB Excel-G shocks and two wheel cylinders along with two new brake drums and new brake shoes were installed in 2021. A single exhaust system exits at the rear.

The CARFAX report starts on December 13, 1998 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Virginia, Nevada, and Utah. The seller has posted a video below that shows the vehicle's engine bay, exterior, and interior.
