OVERVIEW

This 1971 Ford Bronco 4x4 sport utility vehicle rides on a 3.5-inch lift and 31-inch Federal tires. It is powered by a 302cid V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Recent mechanical work includes the replacement of the fuel pump, fuel filter, oil, spark plugs, and distributor. Finished in two-tone orange and white and equipped with a white removable hardtop over a white vinyl interior, this first-generation Bronco is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The orange body is accented with white finishes for the removable hardtop, bumpers, grille, and fender flares. Exterior features include a driver-side mirror, a drop-down tailgate, and a dual exhaust system.

Aluminum 15-inch wheels are wrapped in 31-inch Federal MS351 all-terrain raised-white-letter tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer surrounded by gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. An auxiliary coolant temperature gauge is mounted on the dash. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 91,151 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 302cid V8 has an Edelbrock air cleaner. Recent work includes the replacement of the battery and a tune-up that consisted of an oil change along with the replacement of the fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor, and distributor rotor. Power is sent to all four wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The suspension has been lifted 3.5 inches. Other upgrades include a James Duff panhard bar drop bracket, a drop Pitman arm, and James Duff progressive front coil springs. Stopping comes from four-wheel drum brakes.
