OVERVIEW
This 1951 Ford F1 pickup has been with the seller for 35 years and is equipped with the 390ci V8 and TH400 three-speed automatic transmission from a 1963 Cadillac. Features include power steering, manual brakes, a tilt steering column, and a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor. Finished in red over a tan vinyl interior, this Ford F1 is available now and comes with a clear title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior is finished in red and features chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, dual headlights, chrome hood accents, a cab-mounted fuel tank, a step-side bed with a wood floor, and dual taillights. The seller notes a crack in the driver’s window and notes that the bumpers could benefit from being re-chromed, if desired.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of six-spoke aluminum wheels is wearing Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bucket seat with a fold-down center armrest is upholstered in tan vinyl. Features include red interior sheet metal, red steel door panels with manual windows, a black vinyl floor mat, a 1963 Cadillac steering wheel and tilt steering column with an automatic transmission shifter, and an aftermarket digital AM/FM stereo. The seller notes that the windshield wiper motor is not working and needs to be replaced.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 90-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 21,000 miles, 500 of which were added during current ownership, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 1963 Cadillac 390ci V8 engine backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Per the seller, the work was performed in the early 1980s prior to his father taking ownership. Underhood features include power steering, manual brakes, a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, and gold Cadillac-script valve covers. The seller notes that the oil was changed and the carburetor was replaced two years ago.
