OVERVIEW

This 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible has a power-retractable top, a dual exhaust system, and Rally II wheels with new Cooper Cobra tires. Power comes from a 350cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a Grant steering wheel and a dual exhaust system. Finished in black with red accent striping and equipped with a black soft top over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Firebird is now offered by the selling dealer with a vinyl convertible boot and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The black finish was applied under prior ownership and is complemented by a matching retractable top with a plastic rear window and red “H.O.” side striping. Exterior features include a chin spoiler, chrome brightwork, quad headlights, an antenna, dual mirrors, rocker moldings, louvered rear quarters, and bar-shaped taillamps.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Rally II 15-inch steel wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in 215/65 front and 235/60 rear Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires that were installed in May 2023.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, and carpeting. Amenities include a Grant steering wheel, woodgrain trim, a heater, and a passenger-side grab handle.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lamps. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 92,387 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 350cid V8 transfers power to the rear wheels via a console-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.
