OVERVIEW
This restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door sedan is powered by a 283cid V8 coupled with a three-speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with BFGoodrich whitewall tires, a radio, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in two-tone Matador Red and India Ivory over a black and red vinyl and gray fabric interior, this Bel Air is offered by the selling dealer with an uninstalled spare rear bumper and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-tone Matador Red and India Ivory paint finish was applied under prior ownership. Exterior features include chrome brightwork, a driver-side mirror, rocker moldings, gold accent badging, and a rear corner-exit dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
According to the selling dealer, the 14-inch steel wheels and hub caps are original. The wheels are wrapped in newer 225/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior features dual black and red vinyl and gray fabric bench seats matched to the door panels, dash, headliner, and carpeting. The dash face is accented with aluminum trim. Amenities include lap belts, a push-button radio, Bel Air script badging, a clock, and a heater. The trunk contains a rubber trunk mat and a spare whitewall tire along with a jack.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 33,550 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 283cid V8 reportedly runs smoothly and the selling dealer believes it is a numbers-matching engine. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.

The second photo you added shows what I was mentioning with the paint job and that's nice that you added it. I appreciate that as a buyer and I think the bidders here will too. Thank you. Good luck with your auction.
@Leannetooa – Nice try, I just saw this car yesterday. Your photos are lovely though. Show one of a close up of the EXTERIOR side of the passenger door, lower section where it opens and almost meets the quarter panel. ...

@Leannetooa – I saw this car personally and it has been repainted and not well. The photos hide an area on the passenger door that is bigger than a quarter, where you can definitely see it was repainted. The motor has a ticking sound to it but is original. The passenger door also has the interior lining put back in poorly, perhaps it was taken in and out too much but it is bent in a couple of areas. In my opinion the car is worth $35,000 or less in this condition. ...
Not sure where you saw this car but you are wrong about the paint issues, as well for the Motor it does not have a ticking sound…. Runs and drives excellent . This is a very nicely restored Bel-Air . Uploaded photo inside passenger door .
