UNDERCARRIAGE

This Shelby Mustang was factory-equipped with a 34-mm tubular sway bar; a Ford Racing front strut tower brace; uniquely tuned struts, springs, and shocks; a three-link solid rear axle with coil springs; a Panhard rod; and a 24-mm solid sway bar. Power anti-lock braking is provided by vented 14-inch front Brembo discs with four-piston calipers and vented 11.8-inch rear discs with dual-piston calipers. The braking system is linked to traction control and electronic brake force distribution systems. The exhaust exits at the rear through dual outlets.
