OVERVIEW

This 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four coupled with a four-speed manual transaxle. The VDO-branded instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer with an inset fuel gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 38,049 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The air-cooled 1.6-liter flat-four was reportedly serviced in 2022. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed manual transaxle.
