1959 FORD GALAXIE CLUB SEDAN

OVERVIEW

This restored 1959 Ford Galaxie Club Sedan has been with the seller for 12 years. It is powered by a 352cid V8 backed by a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Features include factory power steering, updated power brakes, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and a newer starter. Finished in Geranium Pink and Colonial White over a white vinyl and black cloth interior, this Galaxie comes with a clear title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration completed in 1999, the exterior was refinished in Geranium Pink and Colonial White with a clear coat. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille with chrome trim, electric windshield wipers, dual mirrors, full-length side trim, rocker panel trim, and rear body trim. The seller notes that some dings and rust spots are present.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black 14-inch steel wheels with 1959 Ford Galaxie replica wheel covers is wrapped in 14” x 7.5” whitewall bias-ply tires that were installed in 2016.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bench seat and the rear seat are upholstered in white vinyl with black cloth inserts. Features include power steering, manual windows, a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and black carpeting.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. With 2,000 miles added during the seller's 12-year ownership, the odometer reads 42,100 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 352cid V8 and backed by a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. A new brake booster was installed in 2012, the starter was replaced in 2022, and the oil was changed in June 2023.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Galaxie was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear through chrome outlets.
