OVERVIEW

This 2009 Aston Martin DB9 Volante is a hand-built roadster that has been driven 48,871 miles since new and is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 connected to a six-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The aluminum and composite body panels wear a Metallic Storm Black finish that has been treated with a clay bar and a ceramic coating that reportedly has a lifetime warranty. Exterior features include a new power-retractable black soft top that was installed in March 2023, HID projector headlights, hood and fender vents, power-folding mirrors, a tonneau cover, splash guards, LED taillights, and dual bright exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Satin black forged aluminum 19-inch wheels are wrapped in 235/40 front and 275/35 rear Delinte DH2 tires that were installed in February 2023.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The 2+2 interior is furnished with heated and power-adjustable saddle leather bucket seats up front and dual seats in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, steering wheel, and carpeting. INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 220-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 48,871 miles, which is in line with the most recent mileage figure of 48,593 logged in the CARFAX report in March 2022.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The hand-built 6.0-liter DOHC V12 was rated at 470 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque when new. It was last serviced in January and received a new battery in March 2023. Additionally, the CARFAX shows that a March 2022 service within the last 1,000 miles included the replacement of the cabin air filter, engine air filter, and coolant. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a rear mid-mounted ZF 6HP26 "Touchtronic 2" six-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with red calipers. The brake fluid was changed in March 2022. Handling is assisted by Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
