OVERVIEW
This four-wheel-drive 1996 Daihatsu Hijet S83 is a right-hand-drive kei truck that has covered 64,716 kilometers (40,213 miles) since new. It recently received a new paint job and upholstery. Equipment includes a headache rack, a hydraulic dump bed with a bed liner and collapsible sides, and an AM radio. Power is provided by an EF-CS 659cc inline three-cylinder engine, which sends power to all four wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. Finished in white with black pinstriping over a gray vinyl and fabric interior, this Daihatsu comes with a clear title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The single-cab body was repainted white and accented with black pinstripes three months ago. At the same time, the two-speed hydraulic dump bed was equipped with a black spray-in bed liner that covers the bed floor and the inner walls of the collapsible bed sides and tailgate panel. Other features include front and rear mudflaps, a passenger-side mirror, a black headache rack, and a single rear exhaust outlet. The seller notes dents on the bed rails, which are visible in the gallery to the right.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
The four-lug, 13-inch wheels were originally red but were repainted black at the same time the body was refinished. Those are wrapped in 155/70R13 Multi-Mile Winter Claw Sport SXI tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with a pair of seats that were recently reupholstered in gray vinyl and cloth, dual gray vinyl headrests, and gray materials for the dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Features include manual windows, an AM radio, a floor-mounted dump bed lever, and center console-mounted manual transmission and transfer case levers.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 130-KM/H speedometer, gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level, and warning lights for various vehicle systems. The five-digit odometer shows 64,716 kilometers (40,213 miles), which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
