OVERVIEW
This 1966 Ford Bronco is powered by a 351cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a refurbished twin-stick, dual-range transfer case. Features include power steering, an electronic ignition, a new roll bar, new floors, a 3.5-inch lift, and 35-inch Goodyear tires. Finished in slate blue over a new black vinyl and gray cloth interior, this Bronco comes with doors, a hardtop, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was refinished in slate blue in June 2023. Features include black tubular bumpers, front driving lights, LED headlights, an aftermarket hood with a hood scoop and hood pins, new black fender flares, a folding windshield with driving lights, and treadplate rocker panel covers. The seller states that the rocker panels were damaged in 2020 and some paint defects are present, including cracking on the hood. The tailgate shows signs of corrosion and body filler.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome 15-inch wheels with manually locking front hubs is wrapped in 35” x 12.50” Goodyear Wrangler tires. An alignment and a tire rotation have been completed under current ownership.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The new front bucket and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl and gray cloth seating areas. Features include power steering, center console-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, a black spray-in bed liner, new floors, and a new roll cage with a spare tire mount.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The aftermarket gauges located ahead of the driver include a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and air pressure. The five-digit analog odometer shows 45,555 miles, which the seller states reflects the miles on the engine. The true mileage on the rest of the vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 351cid V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a refurbished twin-stick, dual-range transfer case. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, long tube headers, an aluminum four-row radiator, and a high-energy ignition (HEI) system. The seller states that the oil and the transmission, transfer case, differential, and brake fluids were replaced on June 14, 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Bronco is equipped with a solid front axle, a nine-inch solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. A 3.5-inch lift has been installed. Braking is provided by manual drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
