OVERVIEW
This 1974 Honda CT70 Trail minibike has been driven fewer than 10 miles since restoration and is powered by a 72cc four-stroke single-cylinder mated to a three-speed semi-automatic transmission. Equipment includes drum brakes, folding handlebars, a headlight, and Kenda knobby tires. Finished in red and black with a black vinyl saddle, this CT70 is now offered by the selling dealer with a bill of sale.
FEATURES
The red and black T-bone frame went through restoration and is dressed with white Honda lettering. The frame, handlebars, headlight bezel, engine case, and other aspects of the chassis were powder coated during refurbishment, and equipment includes folding handlebars, chrome front and rear fenders, a headlight, and reflectors.
WHEELS AND TIRES
Red-finished factory 10-inch multi-piece wheels are wrapped in new knobby Kenda tires sized 12/90.
SEATING
Seating is provided by a Honda-branded black vinyl saddle.
INSTRUMENTATION
Instrumentation includes a 50-mph speedometer with inset recommended shift points. The four-digit mechanical odometer shows 3,670 miles, and the selling dealer states that fewer than 10 miles have been added since restoration.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 72cc four-stroke single-cylinder uses an upswept exhaust system. The battery has been deleted, and the headlight receives power from the motor. Torque is fed to the rear wheel via a three-speed semi-automatic transmission and a chain-drive.
CHASSIS
The suspension uses a conventional fork up front and a dual-shock swingarm in the rear. Stopping power comes from drums both front and rear.
