OVERVIEW
This restored 1958 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was enthusiast-owned for the past 30 years. Power is provided by an upgraded 327cid V8 and is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Wonderbar AM radio, a Hurst shifter, and a four-barrel carburetor. Finished in Signet Red with white coves and equipped with a white manual soft top over a red vinyl interior, this C1 Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the fiberglass exterior was refinished in Signet Red and white for the coves. Features include chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, a manual white vinyl convertible top, a color-keyed convertible top boot, a rear-mounted antenna, trunk trim, and rear bumper-exit exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 15-inch wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in Firestone whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The pair of bucket seats have been reupholstered in red vinyl. Features include manual steering, a clock, a center console-mounted manual Hurst shifter, a Wonderbar AM radio, manual windows, and red vinyl trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, engine temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 71,007 miles, but the actual miles on this vehicle are unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an upgraded 327cid V8, which is connected to a four-barrel carburetor and a four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
