OVERVIEW
This 1950 Ford F1 restomod pickup received a frame-off restoration and features an adjustable air suspension and 18-inch aluminum wheels. It draws power from a 351cid V8 mated to a rebuilt C6 three-speed automatic transmission and has been upgraded with power front disc brakes, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Magnaflow side-exit exhaust system. Finished in Gunmetal Gray over a black vinyl interior, this F1 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was coated in Gunmetal Gray during the frame-off restoration and received satin black treatment for the bumpers, grille, badging, and door handles. Exterior features include a louvered hood, cab-mounted peep mirrors, running boards with Magnaflow side-exit exhaust outlets, birch wood bed planks, and an embossed tailgate. The selling dealer notes that there is a paint bubble the size of a dime on the driver-side door.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Aluminum 18-inch five-spoke wheels with polished lips are wrapped in 245/40 front and 285/35 rear Sumitomo tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior of the cab is fitted with a black vinyl bench seat and matching carpeting. The door panels and dash are color-keyed in Gunmetal Gray with satin black accents. Amenities include a tilt-adjustable steering column and tinted windows.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The Dakota Digital instrumentation includes a digital speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. Auxiliary analog gauges are mounted under the dash. The replacement digital odometer tracks mileage but does not reflect the true overall mileage on the chassis. The prior owner estimated this truck accrued approximately 500 since the build was completed.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 351cid V8 has aluminum heads, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fan. Fuel is drawn from a newer under-bed fuel tank with a filler cap located inside the bed. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a rebuilt C6 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power is derived from power-assisted disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Handling equipment includes an air suspension, tubular control arms, and an independent rear suspension.
