OVERVIEW
This 1969 Land Rover Series IIA is powered by a 2,250cc inline four-cylinder backed by a newly rebuilt manual four-speed transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include the power steering and suspension from a Land Rover Defender, a removable canvas top, a folding windshield, and new floors and seats. Finished in light blue and equipped with a tan removable top over a sienna vinyl interior, this Land Rover comes from a company that has restored more than 50 vehicles with a clear Mississippi title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
In May 2023, the body was refinished in light blue. Features include new floors and door frames installed in April 2023, new lighting, a silver front bumper, a grille guard, tread plate fender scuff panels, dual mirrors, a folding windshield, removable doors with sliding windows, a removable tan soft top with plastic windows, and a black rear bumper. The selling company states there are scratches in the paint on the left side of the vehicle and the top is discolored but functional.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
The off-white 15-inch steel wheels are wider than stock and come equipped with manual locking front hubs and 235/75 radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The new front bucket seats and rear jump seats are covered in sienna vinyl. Features include the power steering from a Land Rover Defender, a locking storage compartment under the driver's seat, floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, body-color metal trim, a new windshield wiper motor, and a black rubber floor mat.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-km/h speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, amps, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 77,210 kilometers, but the true kilometrage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 2,250cc inline four-cylinder engine and backed by a rebuilt manual four-speed transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The selling company states that the engine did not require restoration and the transmission was rebuilt with all new components in May 2023. UNDERCARRIAGE
This Land Rover was factory-equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear. The selling restoration company states that the exhaust system has surface rust but does not have any cracks or damage. The frame was repaired under previous ownership and rust removal was performed. It shows slight traces of rust, but it is reportedly not corroded. The suspension from a Land Rover Defender has been installed.

This car is made to order for a frequent buyer in California, so Land Rover Defender power steering and suspension were added to his order to make it smoother and more fluid. Thanks for your questions, here are the answers: This car was purchased by us in the United States (so I don't know how long I've been in the country). Photos and videos of approximately one month, were made for auction submission. To my knowledge, two owners, but I have to assume that this list is much longer due to the age of the car. This car has been improved, it does not have the soft top structure, instead it has a reinforced double segment anti-roll bar.
Several questions about the wheels: Since the suspension of Land Rover Defender has a size variation, this type of wide wheel of classic English design is more suitable. It honestly looks nicer, a bit aggressive with these wheels, they are an improvement.
Several questions about the claws of the spare tire holder. We put them and the car includes them.
