OVERVIEW

This 2004 Jaguar XJR performance sedan has driven 81,650 miles since new and is powered by a 390-horsepower supercharged 4.2-liter V8 coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is appointed with power-adjustable charcoal leather bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and color-keyed materials for the door panels, dash, center console, and carpeting. Amenities include heated seats both front and rear, burled walnut trim, quad-zone automatic climate control, navigation, cruise control, power windows, rear sunshades, a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, and an Alpine AM/FM/CD audio system with a trunk-mounted disc changer. The power-recline on the driver seat and the fore/aft movement of the passenger seat are both inoperative.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 81,650 miles, which is in line with the most recent odometer reading logged on the CARFAX of 77,506 miles in late 2020.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The supercharged AJ34S 4.2-liter V8 was rated at 390 horsepower and 399 lb-ft of torque. Service was most recently completed in May 2023 per the seller, and the CARFAX shows historical data including an oil change in 2020. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted ZF six-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from Brembo four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and handling is assisted by Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). The car’s original air suspension was replaced by conventional shock absorbers under prior ownership.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report begins in July 2003 and shows no accidents or damage on record throughout the vehicle’s lifetime, with ownership spanning the states of Ohio, Florida, Illinois, and Oregon.
